Welcome to the TAFE SA Woollen Mermaids design competition blog
Woollen Mermaids is a collaborative design competition undertaken by the South Australian Maritime Museum, TAFE SA and Michell Wool.
2010 TAFE SA Advanced Diploma of Applied Fashion Design & Technology students have been asked to develop black swimsuits inspired by Australia's original mermaid, Annette Kellerman.
Using beautiful wool/lycra from Michell Wool, they have crafted the amazing designs you will find on the following blog pages. We hope you enjoy the TAFE SA Woollen Mermaids experience.
